Ryan Murray

Ryan Murray is currently the Executive Director of Labour and Agreements for the Ministry of Health. Previously, Ryan was the Ministry’s Director of Physician Services, and since 2014 he has been part of the government negotiations team for the last three Physician Master Agreements (PMA) – including the development of the PMA’s Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Physical and Psychological Health and Safety. Ryan is a member of the Community Physician OHS Working Group and is the government co-chair of a number of collaborative joint tables with the Doctors of BC, including the Physician Health Program Steering Committee, the Physician Facility Engagement Working Group, and the Specialist Services Committee. Previous to joining the Ministry of Health, Ryan was the Director of Negotiations for the Alberta Medical Association.

The Ministry of Health has the overall responsibility for ensuring quality, appropriate, cost-effective, and timely health services are available for all British Columbians.
