Leslie Bonshor, a member of the Stó:lō Nation Ch’iyaqtel community, is Vice President of Indigenous Health at VCH. Leslie is responsible for providing executive leadership on Indigenous health programs, services, and initiatives across the continuum of care in collaboration with partners, Indigenous communities, and organizations.

http://www.vch.ca/VCH serves 1.25 million people with approximately 20,000 staff, medical staff and volunteers.

Leslie is on UBC’s Presidents Advisory Committee for Aboriginal affairs and is a systems change advisor for the Vancouver Foundation. She is also a member of the VP Indigenous Health standing committee and partners with First Nations Health Authority in supporting mandate priorities and health services to improve wellness and care needs of the Indigenous population.  She leads a team that provides system level support as VCH advances through a transformational change into a more culturally safe organization.
