Gordon Lechner

Gordon brings a wealth of occupational health and safety knowledge rooted in a career that has spanned healthcare and other industries. He was the director of the British Columbia Federation of Labour Occupational Health and Safety Centre, the largest provider of OH&S Committee, Supervisor and Young & New Worker education in B.C. Prior to that, he was the business agent for the Canadian Auto Workers Union (Kitimat B.C.) and the full-time co-chairperson of the Alcan Aluminum Smelter (Rio Tinto) Occupational Health & Safety Committee. He holds a certificate in occupational safety and health technology from BCIT, with additional training in leadership. Outside of work, Gord enjoys downhill skiing, biking, live music, and camping.
