Erica Simpson

Erica began her career as a reporter in Halifax and Saskatoon, and later transitioned into non-profit and corporate communications. She has enjoyed working in media relations, public relations, and corporate communications for organizations in Saskatchewan and British Columbia, including Sask Sport, WorkSafeBC, BCLC, and Vancouver Coastal Health.

Erica has undergraduate degrees in history, political science, and journalism from the University of Toronto and the University of King’s College in Halifax. She also has a diploma in public relations from the University of Victoria and is a certified Strategic Communications Management Professional (SCMP) through the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

In her spare time, Erica loves to ride around the many bike paths in Vancouver, improve her cooking skills with her two kids and husband, and jog around Trout Lake with her black and white spaniel, Mochi.
