Provincial Health Services AuthorityClaire Brown is the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) Chief Medical Affairs Officer. Claire has operational responsibility for the PHSA Medical Affairs Office, including Quality Improvement initiatives (BCMQI, RQI, and IPAC), medical staff credentialing and privileging, and physician compensation.
Claire is a qualified Australian charted accountant and has occupied many leadership roles in finance over her 15 years with PHSA before moving to the Medical Affairs team.
PHSA provides province-wide specialized health services through its services and programs. As Canada’s first provincial health services authority, PHSA’s primary role is to ensure B.C. residents have access to a coordinated network of high-quality health care services.
