Geverlyn Alojado, also known as Gigi, is a health care aide in Kelowna. She faced many challenges in her work during the pandemic, supporting long-term care residents when their families couldn’t visit. Geverlyn thinks that when leaders acknowledge and celebrate the extraordinary work of people in healthcare, the system is stronger for all.
