Clinic Health and Safety Assessments

SWITCH BC is ready to support you in developing a health and safety program for your clinic. Areas of focus might include incident response, managing risks, non-medical emergency preparedness, worker training, and preventing violence.

The ask of you:

A phone or virtual meeting with the Community Physician Health and Safety (CPHS) program team to assess your current state before onsite support and follow-up.

The offer to you:

We’ll work with you, your office staff, or designate, on health and safety needs unique to your clinic. There is no cost associated.

The program was really helpful for us.  The assessment itself was thorough, and the team was very congenial.  They gave us a great report on both things we were doing well, but also things we could work on to improve over time.  It was a good reminder about some things we may have already known, but gotten a bit lax on implementing, as well as things we didn’t have at top of mind. They also gave us some practical tools/guides.  It hasn’t caused us a lot more work, and I believe we are a better employer as a result.
