SWITCH BC’s 2022-2023 Annual Report
Improving the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone working in healthcare system-wide in B.C. is a big goal and it must be done collaboratively.
Every day across this province, everyone working in healthcare goes to work to deliver the best care and service they can. In such a complex system, they don’t always have the right support at the right time to meet their needs.
That’s why SWITCH BC – which stands for Safety, Wellbeing, Innovation, Training and Collaboration in Healthcare – was created with healthcare unions, physicians, and employers making decisions together to support positive change in healthcare.
As a new organization SWITCH BC’s first year focused on building relationships with our partners, learning more about the excellent work already underway, and identifying the gaps where our efforts are needed most.
