Island Health and Interior Health are now using the OHS Resource Centre. 

The OHS Resource Centre helps Joint Occupational Health and Safety committees (JOHSC) track, manage, and report on workplace health and safety. It also allows employees to find their committees and members, see agendas, minutes, reports and action logs, all in one place. 

With these two health authorities on board, there are now more than 2,500 JOHSC members using the online tool across health sites in British Columbia. They join  Providence Health Care and Vancouver Coastal Health JOHSCs who are already on the platform.

The OHS Resource Centre is a partnership among health unions, employers, and SWITCH BC. The launches at Island Health and Interior Health include the BC General Employees’ Union, BC Nurses’ Union, Health Sciences Association of BC, Hospital Employees’ Union, Island Health, Interior Health, and SWITCH BC.
