Health care aides are the heart of the healthcare system. Their hands care for thousands of long-term care residents and other patients across B.C.

SWITCH BC was proud to be a sponsor of a recent SafeCare BC conference aimed at health care aides and assistants appropriately called Hearts and Hands.

The conference was held in three different cities: Langley, Kelowna, and Sidney. Approximately 525 health care aides participated in person and another 100 people participated online.

At the SWITCH BC sponsorship booth, we asked participants to share their ideas to improve workplace health, safety, and wellbeing. Our staff also urged health care aides to visit Your Say on our website and give input their suggestions as we refresh the Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum.
