Health and Safety Priorities at Fraser Health Conference
SWITCH BC was invited to meet with hundreds of Joint Occupational Health and Safety (JOHS) committee members in Surrey at Fraser Health’s Annual JOHS Conference.
JOHSC members asked us about many of our programs, such as the OHS Resource Centre and the updated Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum (PVPC) for workers and physicians. We answered questions and provided updates and information about all SWITCH BC programs.
We asked committee members what their top workplace health and safety issues are. The answers we received show psychological health and safety (PHS) is their highest priority and the topic they are most interested in learning more about.

Thank you to Fraser Health for inviting us to take part in your annual safety event for health care workers. We are committed to “caring for the people who care for us.”
