Free Workplace Health and Safety Webinar Series for Community Physicians and Medical Office Staff

Events  News and Media Centre

Community physicians in B.C. and their medical office staff are invited to a webinar series focused on improving workplace health and safety. The series is part of the Community Physician Health and Safety (CPHS) program, created by SWITCH BC in partnership with Doctors of BC and supported by the BC Ministry of Health. These informative sessions are designed to help clinic owners and operators better understand and meet essential health and safety responsibilities.

Participants will gain insights into:

• How to use the Community Physician Health and Safety web portal for quick access to key resources
• Their legislative and WorkSafeBC requirements
• How to develop and customize their own workplace health and safety program

All B.C. physicians and medical office staff are welcome to attend, and a live Q&A session will be held at the end of each webinar.

The series is accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and has been approved by UBC Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for both family physicians and specialists. While the sessions are open to all medical office staff, only physicians will receive an accreditation certificate upon completion of the sessions.

Don’t miss this opportunity to strengthen workplace safety and ensure compliance in your clinics.
