Engaging with hundreds of JOHS Committee Members at Fraser Health Joint Occupational Health and Safety Conference
SWITCH BC staff engaged with an energetic room of more than 400 JOHS Committee members at the annual Fraser Health Joint Occupational Health and Safety Conference in Surrey. Attendees stopped by the booth to learn more about SWITCH BC resources, including the OHS Resource Centre, a digital meeting management platform.
The event was an opportunity for SWITCH BC staff to talk directly to people working in healthcare to better understand their unique needs and experiences. It featured sessions on how to create a safety culture everyone wants to be a part of, working alone, and new processes for JOHS Committees,
“Many of the attendees stopped by our booth to learn more about SWITCH BC,” said Gordon Lechner, Manager, Health and Safety. “They were excited to hear about what we’re working on and to what new resources will be available to their JOHS Committees.”
