Conference Presentation focuses on Physician Workplace Health and Safety
SWITCH BC was thrilled to be a presenter at the 2025 Canadian Conference on Physician Health. The conference is co-hosted by our board partner Doctors of BC and the Canadian Medical Association.
Community Physician Health and Safety (CPHS) program director, Jennifer Zadorozniak led a discussion on the Challenges and Opportunities for Change: Addressing Occupational Health and Safety in Community Medical Practices. Jennifer shared how the CPHS program, co-developed with Doctors of BC and funded through the Physician Master Agreement, puts practical tools and resources in the hands of physicians and their staff. The program also includes in-person workplace health and safety assessments by SWITCH BC health and safety advisors.
The conference theme of having conversations to build trust and support physicians, while reimagining the culture of medicine, was a natural link for SWITCH BC. Our CPHS program, which includes a web portal so that physicians and staff can customize and maintain their workplace health and safety plans, is designed to reduce administrative burdens and give physicians more time to focus on patient care.
