James Hanson

James Hanson, Vice President of Clinical Operations Central/North at Island Health, oversees all aspects of clinical operations. James’ role ranges from developing an effective, integrated care delivery model to creating several island-wide programs.

Island Health is the largest employer on Vancouver Island, employing 27,000 staff, and 2,400 physician partners as well as hosting more than 2,500 volunteers. Island Health offers health care services to over 850,000 residents of Vancouver Island and adjacent coastal communities.

James holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Sociology.
