Annual Report: A Year of Action
This year’s annual report reflects one clear theme: action.
Across all four program areas, work is underway and expanding in support of health workers.
We’ve completed the update of the violence prevention eLearning course for all health workers and a separate eLearning course for physicians, with consistently high satisfaction scores.
For Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committees (JOHSC), we are piloting new psychological health and safety resources, to strengthen committee effectiveness and support healthy and safe work environments.
At the same time, the OHS Resource Centre — a digital meeting management platform designed collaboratively by health unions and employers — is now live at four health authorities. Over the coming year, it will expand to all health authorities, helping drive system-wide improvements in workplace health and safety.
Our program supporting community physicians and their teams continues to exceed clinic assessment targets and we have added de-escalation tools for medical office staff.
We are also reaching more people than ever before. Website visits have grown by more than 50% year over year, as we continue to expand access to practical resources and microlearning opportunities for health workers across the province.
