SWITCH BC’s Psychological Health and Safety (PHS) Toolkit is expanding, following positive feedback from Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committees (JOHSCs) across B.C.

From February to May 2026, 33 JOHSCs and 184 committee members piloted and tested the toolkit’s foundational resources.

Committee members reviewed webpages, videos, discussion guides, and other resources, providing feedback on accessibility, usability, and effectiveness. All resources received positive ratings.

The pilot was a collaborative effort involving JOHSC members, employer and bargaining association partners, and subject matter experts from across B.C.’s health sector.

The foundational tools will be publicly available in late October.
