New training webinar for OHS Resource Centre users
SWITCH BC is offering a training webinar to help OHS Resource Centre users navigate the platform.
The OHS Resource Centre is now available to all Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committees (JOHSCs) at Interior Health, Island Health, Providence Health Care, and Vancouver Coastal Health. Nearly 250 JOSHC members are using the platform.
To support new and existing JOHSC members in these health authorities, webinar training sessions are now available.
Register for the monthly JOHSC Orientation: Navigating the OHS Resource Centre webinar below:
- Thursday, May 7, 1:30 – 3 p.m.
- Thursday, June 18, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Friday, July 17, 1 – 2:30 p.m.
There will be monthly webinars from May through December 2026, registration will be available three months in advance.
About the OHS Resource Centre
Health authorities across B.C. are implementing a new digital platform called the OHS Resource Centre. This platform helps JOHSCs do their work more easily and efficiently.
The OHS Resource Centre helps committees track, manage, and report on workplace health and safety. Employees can use it to find their committees and members, see agendas, minutes, reports and action logs, all in one place.
The OHS Resource Centre is a partnership among health unions, employers, and SWITCH BC. Fraser Health will begin using the platform in May, and planning is underway for Northern Health and Provincial Health Services Authority to join the platform.
