Connecting with paramedics at the 2026 Paramedics Across Canada Expo
SWITCH BC joined more than 300 attendees at the Paramedics Across Canada Expo in Victoria, hosting an information booth on September 18 and 19. Our team connected with people working in paramedicine and air ambulance from across Canada, and as far away as Norway.
Many attendees shared their experiences with workplace violence prevention training and their ideas for what effective training should include. We also heard about challenges with workplace violence and psychological health and safety that extend beyond B.C. These conversations were a valuable opportunity to learn directly from paramedics and share SWITCH BC’s work to support safer healthcare workplaces.
